National Network for Oral Health Access Reaching Out to Rural Health Organizations

The National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) is reaching out to State Offices of Rural Health and other organizations that want to learn more about oral health issues. NNOHA is a non-profit organization founded by a group of Dental Directors from Federally Qualified Community Health Centers, who recognized the need for peer-to-peer networking, services and collaboration to most effectively operate Health Center dental programs. NNOHA has a diverse membership of safety-net oral health providers including dental directors, dental hygienists and their supporters.

NNOHA invites rural health organizations to attend its 2013 National Primary Oral Health Conference. The annual oral health conference, which will be held in Denver from November 10-13, is the largest gathering of health center program staff in the country. This year’s conference will feature Dr. Marcia Brand from the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the Executive Director and the President-Elect of the American Dental Association.
