Rural Behavioral Health Conference
Friday October 24, 2014

REMOTE GROUP SITE: WICHE Mental Health Program in Boulder, CO
LIVE EVENT: University of Minnesota-Morris, Morris, MN

The health care environment increasingly calls for behavioral health practitioners to integrate our services with primary care and other medical practitioners in a variety of health care settings. In rural settings this is particularly important due to rural stigma about mental health, difficulty accessing services, and the shortage of rural practitioners, both behavioral and medical. This conference will show you practical ways to work with the medical community and will give APA-approved continuing education at a reasonable price. We’ll send further announcements in about 3 months, but please plan to join us and mark your calendar now!

Registration: $100 general, $80 for someone belonging to/working for a partner organization, $20 for students, volunteers, poster presenters. 6.5 APA-approved CEs.
