Telemental Health in Today's Rural Health System

Telemental health is widely promoted as a way to address access barriers to mental health care in rural areas. However, we lack a clear picture of how telemental health is being used across the country. This brief describes the organizational setting, services provided, and staff used in 53 telemental health programs.
